The NYPD Auto Crime challenge coin is a collectible emblem representing the department’s Auto Crime or Street Crimes units. These coins are part of a broader NYPD tradition where specialized units—including auto theft, organized crime, and street crime divisions—issue unique challenge coins to honor membership, commemorate notable operations, or foster unit pride.
