The Maryland State Police 100th Anniversary Homicide Unit challenge coin commemorates a century of service—1921 to 2021—by the Maryland State Police, with special recognition of its elite Homicide Unit. These coins are typically distributed within the department, to current unit members, and at interagency commemorative events, serving both as prideful mementos and symbols of shared dedication to justice.
